The 2019-2020 financial year was unexpected; but there is still a lot to recognise and celebrate. Our service throughout the year have remained open and available to support people impacted by sexual assault; and women, children and young people experiencing family violence. While our method for supporting clients changed from face to face to phone and video call support during the pandemic, our commitment to safety and wellbeing remained the same.
Our annual data shows that we increased our delivery, with more than 4,200 people supported across our services, a 9 per cent increase to the previous year. We supported more than 630 people from the Wimmera district and 199 people in Colac. Our staff based at The Orange Door Barwon supported more than 5,600 cases, and we delivered training to more than 320 participants throughout the year.
It has been through the conscientious effort and support of all our staff, our partners, clients, funders and the Board that we are a strong and proud organisation.
We encourage you to join us as we reflect on our year and celebrate the achievements of our organisation shared in our 2020 Annual Report.
