To strengthen and support the family violence, sexual assault and child wellbeing workforce, the Victorian Government has launched a series of videos and discussion guides to help organisations use the Best Practice Supervision Guidelines.
Supervision is an important part of working in the family violence, sexual assault and child wellbeing sectors. It helps every employee get the support, knowledge and confidence they need to deliver quality services to clients.
This is why the Victorian Government launched the Best Practice Supervision Guidelines earlier this year.
A series of videos and discussion guides are now available to support organisations understand and use the Best Practice Supervision Guidelines in their practice and policies.
There are five videos that draw on the guidelines:
- Introducing the Best Practice Supervision Guidelines
- Role of the organisation, supervisor and supervisee
- First supervision session
- Sharing lived experience
- Reflective supervision
