We welcome your feedback

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is committed to providing high quality care and services and meeting your needs. We welcome your feedback in order to refine the way we develop and deliver our services to you. This includes responding to feedback, compliments and complaints fairly and without discrimination. Any concern you raise or information you provide will not impact on the services you or your family receives.

Your feedback is an important way of making sure your rights are protected.  Feedback and complaints received by our organisation will be managed and responded to in a timely manner and in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2000 and our organisation’s Privacy and Confidentiality Policy and Procedures.

If you have further questions, wish to provide feedback or make a complaint, you are encouraged to speak directly with our staff member supporting you or you are welcome to speak with their Manager or the Executive Manager Client Services. Please call during business hours on 03 5222 4318 or feedback can be provided via our online form below.

If you are not satisfied at any stage of the process, you can ask for your complaint to be reviewed by contacting one of the independent advocacy bodies.

The SAFV Centre is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect and handle personal information that you provide on this feedback form for the purpose of reviewing and responding.

The SAFV Centre is responsible for managing the personal information that you provide on this form. Your information will only be used in accordance with relevant privacy and other laws.

If you choose to remain anonymous, The SAFV Centre may be unable to review your complaint and will treat it as feedback.

You have the right to access your information at any time and if you feel any of the information is inaccurate, make a request for any identified corrections under the Freedom of Information Act 1982. For information about making a Freedom of Information application, you are welcome to speak with the staff member supporting you or their Manager.

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre recognises the diverse needs of our community and we ensure our services are inclusive of all children, young people and their families including those who are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, those who identify as LGBTIQ and persons living with disability. We work collaboratively with people and partner organisations who also support our diverse client group. Interpreter and translator services are available to all our clients upon request.
