Family Violence Case Manager

About The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre

We are a client-centred organisation, supporting the community throughout Barwon, Wimmera, and the South West regions, offering a specialist range of support services to all people impacted by sexual and family violence, encompassing 24 hour crisis response, case management, therapeutic counselling and group programs, early intervention programs, refuge and housing support, legal services, professional training and primary prevention initiatives, along with the delivery of the Victims Assistance Program for Barwon South West.

About The Role

Family Violence Case Manager position is full time or part time 4-5 days per week. We have multiple positions available fixed term for 2 years and ongoing. The position provides support to women and children who are experiencing or have experienced family violence. It uses a strong understanding of the gendered and complex nature of family violence and evidence based risk factors to continuously assess a client’s risk and safety, while also addressing other support needs identified with the client.

About You

With degree qualifications in social work, welfare or psychology, you have demonstrated experience in assessment and risk management, crisis intervention, case management and you will be able to demonstrate experience in delivery of therapeutic interventions.
